This music video was on in a pub the other day - and I noticed the sobbing singer's mascara is smeared into points from the centres of her eyes. This launched me into a crazed tirade on one of my pet frustrations - when actors cry on-screen and their tears fall straight down the centre of each cheek. I tend to get quite into my films, but there's nothing like cheek-tears to ruin the moment. Where are these people's tear-ducts supposed to be?!

Cheek-tears (for Laura)

Our new coins...
These new coins will start circulating throughout the year. I do actually really like the designs - thanks Matthew Dent.
However I foresee hours of my time wasted;
1) trying to collect (and not spend) one of each
2) arranging them slowly and painfully to make the shield. A lot.
Damn you Matthew Dent.

Question: is it necessary for (type) designers to have spelling and grammar skills these days?
Above is just an example - I'm sure (well, hoping) it's been accidentally misquoted, or maybe written in a hurry and not proof-read.
All grammatic pedantry aside I like the quotation :)
